Adebayo Mojeed Alabi

Adebayo Mojeed Alabi is the education correspondent for the New Telegraph Newspaper. He started his journalism career as a staff writer at the Eipex Media Networks Center and then worked as a reporter and campus page editor at the Education Desk for the National Mirror Newspaper. After that, he became an education correspondent for the Leadership Newspaper. Alabi received the Nigeria Media Merit Award Education Reporter of the Year in 2012 and the Rotary International Humanitarian Reporting Awards for Maternal and Child Health in 2013. Alabi received his Bachelor’s degree in English in 2004/2005 from Obafemi Awolowo University. He is pursuing a Master’s degree at the University of Lagos for Diplomacy and Strategic Studies.


Rabi Alhmamasah

In addition to his position as news editor and newscaster at Jordan Radio and Television Corporation, Rabi Alhmamasah works for news outlets such as the University of Jordan Radio Station and Hawa Radio Station, where he produces and presents weekly programs. He also serves as media officer and spokesperson at the Center for Strategic Studies at the University of Jordan. Alhmamasah started his career as a translator before joining Clyde Radio in the United Kingdom as a news editor. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of Jordan. Anvar Aslyamov is a TV journalist who has been with the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company, Bashkortostan, for the past two years. Prior to this, Aslyamov was a reporter for the Kstati! journal and a content manager at Gymnastic, a manufacturing company. He attended Udmurt State University in Izhevsk and the Academy of Media-Industry in Moscow, where he received a degree as a public relations specialist, and interpreter and TV journalist.


Md Abul Kalam Azad

Md Abul Kalam Azad is the senior reporter at The Daily Star in, the leading English-language newspaper in Bangladesh. A journalist for the past 18 years, Azad started his career as a Dhaka University campus correspondent before becoming a reporter at The Daily Star. He then joined the Daily New Age as a senior reporter, returning to The Daily Star in 2008. Azad has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mass Communications and Journalism from the University of Dhaka in Bangladesh.

Tamba Jean-Matthew III is the West Africa correspondent for the Africa Review, published by the Daily Nation Group, Africa’s leading media group. Previously, he was assistant editor at the Liberia News Agency, the Pan African News Agency and the African Press Agency in Senegal. Jean-Matthew is a member of the South Africa-based Forum of African Investigative Reporters (FAIR). Between 1990 and 2000, he covered the civil wars in Liberia and Sierra Leone, and the conflict in Casamance in southern Senegal as a freelance journalist. Jean-Matthew drew from those experiences to train journalists covering armed conflicts in Cote d’Ivoire, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda.
