Disarming Disinformation is ICFJ's largest program addressing the information disorder we live in. It is a three-year global program supported by the Scripps Howard Foundation.

With the support of the United States Embassy in Tbilisi, the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) is partnering with the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the Arizona State University (ASU) to equip Georgian media educators with the resources, skills, knowledge, and connections needed to strengthen their pedagogical approach and empower the next generation of Georgian journalists to advance a free and vibrant media.  

Journalists in the global network of the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) are invited to apply for the Hans Staiger Investigative Reporting Award to pursue an investigative project of their choosing. Applicants should submit a project idea that seeks to uncover hidden truths, expose wrongdoing, and reveal information that holds the powerful to account.

The International Center for Journalists is partnering with the U.S. Embassy in Astana to help newsrooms in Kazakhstan improve their quality of reporting and attract and engage local audiences.

The International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) with support from U.S. Embassy posts around the globe will host nine international journalists to train them on campaign elections and American politics. Through the program, reporters learn from experts in the lead-up to the up to the U.S. presidential election and receive mentorship from American counterparts.

This program challenges the development community to build citizen demand to reduce corruption, fraud, and other criminal activities through increased exposure to professionally-produced investigative journalism.
